The Chamber of Commerce and industry of  Central Province was established in the year 1992 and managed by a Board of Directors. In other hand ( CCICP ) is the foremost chamber to have been established outside Colombo more than a decade ago. CCICP has at all times has taken the lead role in addressing issues of concern affecting trade and commercial sectors while being committed to improve life and times of the society throughout its existence.

The Main services of the Kandy Chamber are the Counseling, Consultancies, Special Projects, Preparation of Project Plans , Feasibility Studies, Circulating business information among the membership, Lobbying Works, Organizing workshops Seminars Trainings for the benefit of Membership, Award ceremony, Trade delegations (Locally and Internationally)

Presently CCICP has 684 members, including 400-Individual members and 284-members of large level entrepreneurs and Trade Associations.Highly motivated and competent professional staff while making the Chamber self sustainable and Contributing to the promotion of the cultural social and Economic values of the land.The Central Province Chamber is affiliated to two National level Chambers ,Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Sri Lanka (FCCISL), Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) Also now a days We are dealing with different kind of  Chambers, Foundations,  Trade Associations,  Development Authorities, Councils,  Development Boards Etc.
